Raising Money For Families In Need

Hey Guys! As we are all aware a lot of us are going through a difficult time during this pandemic. A lot of people are out of work (some with no pay) and although I feel like I’m a little late I would like to do what I can to help those in need.

I have started a gofundme fundraiser in hopes to help a few families in need. I, myself am a single mother and have definitely had my share of ups and downs. What drives me to want to help those in need now is exactly that. I had moments as a single mother where I had no idea how I was going to get through the difficult times that were ahead of me. Sometimes I felt really defeated and didn’t know who to reach out to or what to do to get myself out of those difficult times.

My purpose is to raise money and help my community… I know exactly what it feels like to struggle over and over and I would like to help take some of that weight off your shoulders by helping with what I can.

Although I will be using my own finances to help, I can only help so many people so I am asking for the help of my community to lend a helping hand either with a small donation or just by simply reposting my campaign. Please click here to donate.

Thank you in advance and appreciate every single one of you for taking the time to read this post.

“B-day Booty” Playlist

In honor of my 36th birthday I put together a cool little playlist of some of my favorite songs. This a collective of songs that made me feel good in the past, some in the present and some of my current favorites. All these songs make me wish we weren’t stuck in quarantine so I can go out and dance the night away with my friends. Click here to listen on iTunes or here for Tidal.

Don’t forget to let me know you listened by posting on your Insta/fb/Snpa stories, tell me which song was your fav and tag me @honeybaebeyy for a repost!

Thank you for all your support and hope you have an incredible weekend!

Cheers TO LIFE!

Podcast: “This Woman’s Work”

In this episode I talk about the things that I look forward to in the new year as well as reflect on some things that I have dealt with in the years prior. I get very emotional (again lol) so I hope you’re wearing your waterproof mascara and I really hope that you are able to relate and understand.

Podcast- “After The Storm”

I wanted to wait to put out this episode but at the same time I couldn’t wait to put it out and I decided to just click the “public” button.

Listen to what changes I had to make in my personal and professional life to really find myself and truly be the happy person I once used to be.

I lost one of my friends earlier this year and it really hurt me a lot. It was yet another reason why the first half of the year was such an emotional struggle for me.

This episode is so personal for me as I talk about my emotional breakdown earlier this year and what led me to that moment. After being strong for so long and not allowing myself to be vulnerable, my emotions and life struggles got the best of me. I felt lost and unhappy and somehow I found happiness again. After the storm…

Podcast Episodes You Missed!

Hey guys!! I just want to share these podcast episodes I haven’t shared since I have been super MIA. A lot has happened and a lot has changed. Please take the time to listen to my podcast and don’t forget to give me your feedback. I always like to hear from you guys!

Podcast Lucy 101 “Dreaming Of You”

I decided to re-brand my podcast. I no longer host the radio show I created “Firme Radio.”
Since I have been putting out podcast episodes that are more personal journals I decided to name it “Lucy 101.” It’s basically a podcast on getting to know me or getting to know what type of person I am through my thoughts and opinions. Now, I am very opinionated and for the most part have the Unpopular opinion, something that has got me dragged on Instagram many many times. I will go more into detail on another blog post but for now listen to my very first Lucy 101 episode titled “Dreaming of You.”

This episode is about my grandfather who passed away at the end of July. He was taken off life support after a week or so of being in the hospital. I hadn’t seen him in many years but I recently had a dream that involves him. Take a listen and let me know what you think.

I would really appreciate a review on iTunes so click here to do so and thank you.

Podcast Episodes I haven’t Posted

It’s been a while since I created… I was having a creator block and didn’t feel like people were really interested in hearing what I had to say. I felt like I had nothing to say… I wasn’t editing, or recording or really anything at all.

I started to read and write more and it helped to get my creative juices flowing. I started to feel like I had something to say and that I wanted to continue telling my stories. I hope that you guys enjoy my podcast. I really enjoy talking to you guys and hearing your feedback.

Firme Radio Podcast “Dear Mama” Mother’s Day Episode

On this episode of the FR Podcast I wanted to tell my story as a young mom. I got pregnant at the young age of 17 and lord knows that it has been quite and experience, not only because I was a teen mom but also because I have been a single mom for almost 16 years.
Take a listen to my experience and let me know what you think about it and don’t forget that what doesn’t kill us will only make us stronger. That is so cliche I know but also very true. 😉
